Your African adventure begins the moment you arrive. On Sunday, you’ll be welcomed in Johannesburg and transferred to the 4-star Birchwood Hotel, conveniently located near the airport, where you can relax and recharge after your international flight. After breakfast the following morning, it’s a short flight to George — and this is where the adventure truly begins. Our private tour bus will be waiting to welcome you before whisking you away to your first African wildlife experience at the Garden Route Game Reserve. Enjoy a welcome drink before heading straight into the bush on an exhilarating 2–3 hour safari, searching for Africa’s magnificent wildlife against a backdrop of mountains and sweeping landscapes. Afterwards, settle in for a leisurely lodge lunch overlooking the African bush. Then we exchange safari for sea, travelling along the beautiful Garden Route towards Plettenberg Bay and your luxury home for the week. Your first evening in Plett begins with drinks at the pavilion, overlooking the ocean, lagoon and mountains, followed by a gourmet dinner. Welcome to Wild Fit Free. Your week has officially begun.
Elephants, Pickleball & the Wild Coast
An unforgettable introduction to Plettenberg Bay
Wake to the sound of the ocean and join us for an optional sunrise beach walk, followed by a freshly prepared breakfast from our private chef. Then it’s time for one of the week’s most memorable encounters — an intimate African elephant experience, getting remarkably close to these extraordinary animals. Back in Plett, the paddles come out for our first relaxed pickleball session before a leisurely lunch at the villa and some time to recharge. Later, we head for the spectacular Robberg Nature Reserve, where dramatic cliffs meet the Indian Ocean. Walk one of South Africa’s most beautiful coastal trails, breathe in the fresh sea air and keep watch for dolphins — and whales when in season. Back at the villa, freshen up before another two-hour pickleball session combining coaching, play and plenty of fun. As the sun begins to disappear, gather for sundowners, laughter and a wonderful private-chef dinner overlooking the bay.

Start with an optional sunrise walk along the beach before breakfast and another energising morning of pickleball coaching and match play. Then discover another side of Plettenberg Bay. Wander through the charming Old Nick Village, browse its market and experience the fascinating Mungo Mill, where traditional weaving and contemporary African craftsmanship come together. From there, we journey into The Crags wine country for an afternoon of beautiful scenery, local wines and a relaxed vineyard lunch. Return to the villa for a swim, a little downtime or simply a good book beside the pool before an optional social pickleball session. Then it’s back to the deck for sundowners, good company and another beautiful chef-prepared dinner.
Into the Gorge
Tsitsikamma • Lilo & Kayak • Pickleball
Today, adventure calls. After an optional beach walk and gourmet breakfast, we travel into the magnificent Tsitsikamma region for the famous Storms River Lilo & Kayak Adventure. Paddle beneath towering cliffs before floating deeper into a dramatic ancient gorge on your lilo, surrounded by indigenous forest, rock and pristine water. It’s exhilarating, spectacular and completely unique — and fully guided, so no previous experience is required. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Storms River Mouth before returning to Plettenberg Bay. The afternoon brings us back to the courts for another two hours of pickleball, followed by the Wild Fit Free ritual you’ll quickly come to love: sundowners overlooking the ocean and dinner prepared by our private chef.

Pickleball • Knysna • Sunset on the Indian Ocean
The morning begins gently with an optional beach walk and breakfast on the deck. Then we turn up the energy. Enjoy an action-packed three-hour pickleball session, with professional coaching, match play and pair selection ahead of tomorrow’s tournament. After lunch at the villa, trade your pickleball shoes for something a little more glamorous as we travel to Knysna. Step aboard our yacht, raise a glass and sail across the tranquil lagoon towards the magnificent Knysna Heads. Weather permitting, we’ll pass between the towering sandstone cliffs and out towards the open Indian Ocean as the afternoon light turns golden. It’s our “sail like a billionaire” experience — ocean air, incredible scenery, good company and one very memorable African sunset. Tonight, we’ll dine at one of Plettenberg Bay’s standout restaurants.
Tournament Day
Competition • Celebration • Gala Night
Today, it’s game time. After breakfast, take to the courts for the Wild Fit Free Plettenberg Bay Pickleball Tournament — around three hours of spirited competition, great rallies, laughter and perhaps a little friendly rivalry. After lunch at the villa, the afternoon is yours. Choose an optional visit to Birds of Eden, browse Plettenberg Bay’s markets and boutiques, head to the beach or simply do absolutely nothing beside the pool. As evening approaches, gather for sundowners before dressing up for our Gala Dinner & Prize Giving. Expect superb food, tournament prizes, plenty of laughs and a night that may well end on the dance floor.
Wild Ocean. Wild Africa. One Last Celebration.
Cape Fur Seals • Safari • African Farewell
For our final full day together, Africa has a few more surprises waiting. After your last sunrise beach walk and chef-prepared breakfast, we head out onto the ocean for an unforgettable encounter with Plettenberg Bay’s playful Cape fur seals. For the adventurous, get into the water and swim alongside them. Prefer to stay dry? Enjoy the scenery and action from the boat. Return to the villa for a gourmet lunch before we head into the bush for one final wildlife safari. As the African sun begins to set, raise a glass to an extraordinary week before the evening transforms into our African Farewell Celebration. Authentic African flavours, music, entertainment and celebration bring everyone together for one final night. A fitting finale to seven days of sport, adventure, friendship and Africa.
